Hello! I have been nominated twice for The Spirit Animal Blog Award (wow, okay) so I should most definitely get started. Thank you so so so much to PartiallyEndurableRachel and The Ambivert for nominating me for this fantastical award. I am seriously so grateful for both of you. You are such lovely, supportive human beings, that I literally love talking to so much, so if you haven’t already, please check their blogs out! I AM SO EXCITED AHH LET’S GET STARTED KIDS.

Write a short paragraph about yourself and what your blog means to you

This is strange, because I’m not really sure what sort of person I am yet. I enjoy writing, especially poetry and short stories. I love my cat very much and on my bedroom windowsill there are 5 mushroom figurines and three cacti, including one with a mustache. I started this blog because I wanted to document my life and writing. Combine that with sheer boredom and a love of all things Internet and Happy Alex was born. I never expected anyone to read this blog but now people do and I get nominated for stuff like this and it’s really strange?! So now, this blog means so much more to me because it holds so many friendships that I will treasure forever.

If you could be any animal, what would you be?

Most definitely a cat but not just any cat, my cat, who is called Martha by the way. She is currently sitting between my legs (sounds a little strange) and she has curled herself into the warmest little fluff ball and she has just fallen asleep, after cuddling and playing for like 2 hours with someone who loves her entirely (me). I mean who wouldn’t want that life? She is also really attractive, like she is such a beautiful animal and I look like a potato with eyes sitting next to her. Although if I did take full possession of her little cat like body I would have to eat meat which I am completely against.
